Conexme has a built-in firewall tester to check if your ports have been forwarded properly. Follow these steps to test your firewall:
- Click the Menu button at the top right of the application.
- Click the Firewall test button.
- Click the Start test button in the Firewall test view.
Note: The firewall test can take over a minute to fail if ports aren't forwarded properly.
If the firewall test fails, try the following and then re-test:
- Go to www.portforward.com.
- Scroll down and select your wireless router from the list.
- Skip the ad by clicking the link at the top right of the page.
- Go to the "Default Guide" link in the last sentence at the top of the page.
- Forward port 22333 for Conexme on TCP. (22333 is the default Conexme port)
Note: You can change the Conexme operating port in the Conexme settings tab. You must stop and then start the peer server after changing the port.
