Help - Firewall Test

Conexme has a built-in firewall tester to check if your ports have been forwarded properly. Follow these steps to test your firewall:

  1. Click the Menu button at the top right of the application.
  2. Click the Firewall test button.
  3. Click the Start test button in the Firewall test view.

Note: The firewall test can take over a minute to fail if ports aren't forwarded properly.

If the firewall test fails, try the following and then re-test:

  1. Go to www.portforward.com.
  2. Scroll down and select your wireless router from the list.
  3. Skip the ad by clicking the link at the top right of the page.
  4. Go to the "Default Guide" link in the last sentence at the top of the page.
  5. Forward port 22333 for Conexme on TCP. (22333 is the default Conexme port)

Note: You can change the Conexme operating port in the Conexme settings tab. You must stop and then start the peer server after changing the port.
